$XEC (Cimarex Energy Co.) Gap up and run today. Up 18.62% on earnings. Held $75 support early on before running to highs of $82.42 then consolidated at the $80 level and drifted slightly higher into the close. Tomorrow will watch this at $80 for possible hold and continuation. If we pull back further, will watch for $75 test if possible.

$DF (Dean Foods Company) Gapped up on earnings today. Showed some resistance at the $12.50 and pulled back to $12 where it consolidated over and under this level from noon till close. $12 is an area of longer term support. Looking for a hold to long or if it fails to break; short.

$AAWW (Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc.) Down 10.72% on earnings. Consolidated over/under $45 all day. Watch for perks off this level tomorrow. Any hold/consolidation and I’ll try it long as long as the market isn’t selling.

$DMND (Diamond Foods, Inc.) Was in a 3 day down trend and broke of the the trend today. Now in a 2 day uptrend. Showed some early resistance at $23. Broke and hold then ran nearly to $24. $24 is a previous support level. Watch for break and hold for push to $25. Over $25 and we could see a short squeeze. 52.40% short interest. Could very well see a $5+ squeeze.

$NTAP (NetApp, Inc.) Up on earnings a/h. Holding/consolidating $43 level. Will have updated levels and trading plan tomorrow in pre mkt on the Cheat Sheet.

$TSLA (Tesla Motors, Inc.) Beat Q4 sales estimates, but loss was greater than expected. 2012 Guidance $550-$600M vs $532.6M. Expecting profitability in 2013. Spiked to $35.93 a/h which is over the $35 longer term resistance level, but faded to mid $32′s – $34 area. Will watch $35 level tomorrow. If it breaks and holds, I’ll be long biased. If it fails to hold above $35; short.

$DMND (Diamond Foods, Inc.) I like the way this chart is setting up. Since the recent gap down, it’s made lower highs while holding the $21.40ish level. Looking for some consolidation at $22 or so for a nice squeeze. Had a decent move off of a tight consolidation under $22 today that ran up over $23. Something similar to this and I’m long. 52.40% short interest.

$GRPN (Groupon, Inc.) Held up at the $19 support area as mentioned in lastnights watchlist. Looking for more consolidation at this level for long scalps. Not looking for a big rebound, but I’ll take it long if $19 holds.

$LPSN (LivePerson Inc.) Up 18.82% today on earnings. Popped at open and then consolidated under some longer term resistance at $15. Broke out of a symmetrical triangle pattern on daily. Looking for continuation if it can get over the $15 resistance and hold. If it fails to break, I’ll flip it around and short it.

$DMND (Diamond Foods, Inc.) Down a bit today. Looking/hoping for some days of consolidation around these levels before the next big squeeze. 52.40% short interest.

$GRPN (Groupon, Inc.) Broke past the $20 prior consolidation area I was watching, but now nearing another area of support/consolidation at $19. Long biased on consolidation/hold of this level.

$NUAN (Nuance Communications, Inc.) Today continued to show some resistance at $27 level. Tomorrow will look for this to break over $27 and hold for long. If we fail and the mkt sells, I’d watch this one at the $25 support level.

$FSLR (First Solar, Inc.) Resistance at $42 and consolidated under this level for most of the day. Took a few long for scalp at the $41.50s area and sold on moves up to $42. Thought we’d get a nice break, but never happened. On watch tomorrow for a move up. Otherwise, I’ll wait for this to get back to $40 previous support level from November and mid-January.

$GRPN (Groupon, Inc.) Hitting uptrend line on daily and an area of prior consolidation ($20 level). Eyeing this one for a long. Possible hold at $20 for nice rebound. 47.10% short interest so this could trigger a squeeze.

$IRBT (iRobot Corporation) Held $25 level where it has longer term support. A hold here and I’m long.

$TRLG (True Religion Apparel Inc.) Longer term support @ $25. Will like to see some selling to this area, then a hold, then rebound.

$NUAN (Nuance Communications, Inc.) In a down trend from a/h thursday till end of day friday with lower highs, but held up just over $26. Longer term support at $25. Longer term resistance at $27 as well as intraday. $28 resistance in a/h session thursday. Any pops to these resistance levels and I’ll watch for possible shorts if it holds under. Long bias on sell off to $25 support.

$GSVC (GSV Capital Corp) $15-$15.15ish area of support intraday friday. $16 resistance intraday and longer term. No bias.

$CIE (Cobalt International Energy, Inc.) Up at all-time highs. Big $6 pop from pre mkt to intraday high of $36.51. Sold a bit, held under $36 and gave a $6+ pullback near $30. May see some resistance at $33 and $30 levels if we continue lower. No bias, but leaning more toward shorting on weakness and resistance.

$GRPN (Groupon, Inc.) -13.87% on EPS miss. Reaching bottom trend line on daily and reaching an area of prior consolidation ($19-$20). Looking for some early selling, consolidation till early afternoon and possible end of day run. 47.10% short interest. Could give a nice squeeze off these levels.

$TRIP (TripAdvisor Inc.) Down 14.56% on earnings. Held $28 pre mkt support through the day where it had a nice rebound to nearly $30. Consolidated low-mid $29s till close. Longer term resistance at $30. Fail at this level and I’m short. Break and hold, I’m long.

$IRBT (iRobot Corporation) Down 34.28% today on earnings. Held most of the day at $25.50 area while making lower highs on each pop thru $26. $26 could show some resistance, but $24 and $25 are longer term support levels. Watching for selling to these areas for possible long. Would prefer to wait for consolidation, hold of support, then rebound.

$OPNT (OPNET Technologies Inc.) Down recently on earnings and reaching a longer term support level at $30. Looking for consolidation at this level for long entries.

$AKAM (Akamain Technologies, Inc) Climbed 10.51% on earnings. Tapped $40 resistance area in pre-market and faded for most of the day. Consolidated around the $38 level. If the market is weak tomorrow, will look to short this one under $38. If we have early strength, I’ll lean toward long on hold of $38.

$THOR (Thoratec Corp.) Up on earnings today. Resistance at $36 and support at $34. Short under $34 on market weakness.

$AKAM (Akamai Technologies, Inc.) Up about 13% a/h. Q4 profits of $0.45/share beat the analyst consensus of $0.40/share. $324M revs vs $311.3M streets est. Will be long biased on pulls to support levels. $40 area of interest.

$CSCO (Cisco Systems, Inc.) Beat EPS was climbed over 4%, but faded below closing price a/h. Would like to see $20 level hold. No bias.

$GRPN (Groupon, Inc.) Q4 earnings miss EPS estimates. Declining number of active customers. $20 level of interest to me. Hope to see some consolidation around here.

$CALX (Calix, Inc.) Beat earnings this morning and upgraded. Showed strenght early on then resisted $11 level most of the day. Keep an eye on this level. Long above, short below. More in chat.

$AVID (Avid Technology, Inc.) Up on earnings with some early strength at open. Pulled back and failed to get back above $12 level. Same idea as $CALX.

$MCO ( Moody’s Corp.) Down a bit today after reporting lower Q4 profit due to rising costs. Longer term resistance at $40 and held $38 support for most of the day after a strong move at open. Looking to play both sides of this one depending on the price action tomorrow.

$SGI (Silicon Graphics International Corp.) Reported disappointing earnings, but held up at the $11 level most of the day. A little support in this area on daily.

$SOHU (Sohu.com Inc.) -15.29% today on weak Q1 forecast. Held support at $53.30-.40 level for just about the entire day with nice pops into and over the $54 level. Got some nice trades on this one today. $54 showing some resistance mid day and into the close. Will keep an eye on this level tomorrow as well as low $53 area.

$MHS (Medco Health Solutions Inc.) Chatter that regulators considering blocking merger with $ESRX. Dropped about $8 intraday and rebounded nearly $4 before closing in the mid $58 level. Watching the $56, $58 areas for possible support and $59-$60 possible resistance. No bias.

$ESRX (Express Scripts, Inc.) Same news as above. Big selloff and decent rebound that held throughout the day and into the close. $49.50 level held support nicely well into the close. Bit of resistance at the $50.25 and $50 levels. Will keep an eye on this one at open in this tight 50 cent range. See which way it breaks out.

$MCP (Molycorp, Inc.) Class action lawsuit filed against $MCP. Showed resistance at the $29 level before breaking lower and again at $28. Will watch this level tomorrow on the open.

$HCA (HCA Holdings, Inc.) Beat EPS est. Up 7.33%. Early resistance at $29 in pre mkt and at open. Consolidated around the $28 support level most of the day and into the close. Level to watch for tomorrow. Could fill the gap if it gets over $30 (daily chart).

$CSTR (Coinstar, Inc.) Gapped up today after announcing a joint venture betweet Redbox and Verizon. Beat EPS est after-hours. Q1 guidance for rev of $530-$555 million vs expectations of $515 million. $60 longer term resistance. Will watch this level tomorrow in pre  mkt and open. $58.50 a/h high (so far) and $56 a/h support. 40.88% short interest.

$RSH – $8 area of interest. Negative reaction to lowered guidance/announced preliminary 4Q results. Looking for some support/consolidation in the $8 level.

$ALGN – $23/$23.50 support lvls. $24 resistance. Beat Q4 est, but Q1 guidance below streets est. Waiting for selling to settle, long off support/consolidation. Possibly at $22.50-$23 area.

$RVBD – $23/$24 support lvls. $24/$26 resistance. Gapped down friday on earnings. Stayed in flat/tight range today just under $24 level. Long on hold of $24 for a possible run to $24.50s-$25.

$EMN – $50 support. $50/$51/$52 resistance lvls. Gapped up on earnings and news of SOA acquisition. Long if $50 holds. Short if it failes to hold $50 level.

$INFA – $42/$43 support. $43.50 intraday resistance. Pos reaction to earnings friday followed by a flat day today. Looking for this to sell to the $42 level for a possible rebound off support.

$SNDK – $46 support. $46.50/$48 resistance. Down on earnings followed by a flat day today. Looks to be supporting $46. Long biased on any hold of support especially at the $46 level. Could easily push to $47-$48 areas.

$VPRT – $35/$36 support. $38 resistance. Huge run today on increased volume. Long any show of support for a push to $40 level. Will play short side if this resists and fails to break $40.
